What we collect, why we collect it, and the control you have over it.
01. Who We Are
Ikziriv ("we", "us") operates this website — a design and development practice publishing articles, case studies, and digital products. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Ikziriv is the data controller for personal information collected through this site. You can reach us at [email protected].
02. Information We Collect
Information you provide: name and email address when you create an account, subscribe to the newsletter, or send us a message through the contact or subscription forms.
Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, referring pages, pages visited, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
03. How We Use Your Information
- Operate the site and provide the features you use, including accounts and authentication.
- Send the newsletter and product updates you subscribe to.
- Respond to your inquiries and support requests.
- Analyze aggregate usage to improve content, performance, and security.
04. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and serve advertising. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; doing so may affect some site features. See our Cookies Policy for the full list.
05. Third-Party Advertising
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices.
06. Analytics & Error Monitoring
We use analytics services — including Google Analytics and PostHog — to understand how visitors use the site. These tools collect information such as pages visited, session duration, interactions, and approximate location. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We use Sentry to monitor errors and application health. When something breaks, Sentry may receive technical details about your browser and the action that failed. We configure it to exclude personal content wherever possible.
07. Service Providers & Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only with the providers required to run this site:
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
- Neon — database hosting for accounts and site data.
- Convex — real-time data for interactive features.
- Google, PostHog, Sentry — advertising, analytics, and error monitoring as described above.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and only for the service it supplies to us.
08. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. Account data is kept while your account is active; newsletter data until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
09. Data Security
We use encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and managed service providers with their own security programs to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work to keep the risk low.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us — we respond to every request.
To unsubscribe from the newsletter, use the link in any email we send or contact us directly.
11. International Data Transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, transfers are covered by the providers' standard safeguards, such as contractual clauses approved for that purpose.
12. Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
13. External Links
This site links to third-party websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for their content or handling of your data.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. Updates are posted on this page with a revised date at the top; significant changes are announced to subscribers.
